The Transformatorhuis is the monumental former transformer house of the Westergas site, today operated as the event venue De Wester. The nearly 10 metre high industrial space spans 700 m2 and features a characteristic wooden roof construction and high windows that fill the room with natural daylight. It hosts dinners, fashion shows, conferences, brand activations and parties for up to around 800 guests, and can be combined with the neighbouring WestWeelde halls for events of up to 1,900 visitors.
