Oosterbar is tucked away in the basement of the former Health Science university building at the Oosterpark, built in 1908, and occupies what used to be the boiler room. The industrial space breathes a Berlin atmosphere, with original details such as white metro tiles, classic window frames and warm old-fashioned bulbs behind the bar. Boiler Room has hosted sessions here, and the club keeps a steady programme of nights on urban and house beats.
