Het Veerkwartier was an event location and temporary pavilion at the Veerplas in Haarlem, run as a 'city-like free haven' where nature, culture and recreation came together. It hosted dancing under the stars, clothing swap markets, film nights by the water and live performances by young talent. After years of plans for a permanent sustainable pavilion, rising building costs made the project unfeasible and the entrepreneurs pulled the plug in 2024.
